Introducing the Adventure Legend Award

I am so excited to introduce one of 3 new Legend Awards: the ADVENTURE Legend Award! The Adventure Legend Award is opening for submissions in October 2026. It will repeat annually only once per year.

This award is all about ACTION, EXPERIENCES, and ACTIVITIES! Show us couples exploring, experiencing, oopsie-daisy-ing, and getting into their chosen activities. We are welcoming ALL types of adventure, from picnics to dancing to hiking and beyond. We are strongly suggesting your images be fresh, well composed, intentionally cropped, that bring us into the couple’s story and makes us feel like we are part of the action.

NEW: For the Adventure Legend Award, elopements and microweddings with up 25 guests are eligible. This replaces the former ruling of up to 15 people. All other eligibility rules remain the same. (No styled shoots). The Adventure Legend Award is a Legend Award and winning one will count towards your total number of awards. You will receive a special press kit and award winners badge customized with the year you won it.

Everyone can pay $19 to submit up to 5 images from any year. Elopement Photographers who are Legend Awards members can submit to the Adventure Legend Award for free. You don’t have to win a Legend Award to become a member. Learn more about membership or become a member here.
